High Availability Infrastructure |
Design and Integrate a Redundant Infrastructure for High Availability
Overview:
High availability (HA) computing has long gained much attention in enterprise and mission critical systems. HA goals are to maximize the uptime; QuantM offers solutions with multiple levels of redundancy to guarantee the highest levels of availability. QuantM ensures service availability by supporting redundant application and database servers/ storage, server/ storage clusters and multipath fail over networks, automatically detecting and compensating for any server/ storage or service failures. Additionally, redundant Infrastructure may be deployed to eliminate any single point of failure. Finally, Geographic spread of load balanced Server /storage can be configured to provide redundancy across multiple locations.
QuantM’s HA solutions Delivers:
- Multilevel Guarantee of Application Availability
- Ensures Seamless Disaster Recovery
- Deliver Traffic by Server/Storage Availability, Performance and Network Latency

We have been designing and integrating HA solutions for reliable, high performance load balancing and application delivery. Solutions designed and implemented by us have proven again and again to provide the most cost effective and reliable solutions by eliminating much of the administrative overhead associated with building and maintaining systems. We ensure that our solutions are designed for a specific task, site administrators can avoid the pitfalls and complication of building platform and application dependent software based fail over or load balancing solutions. Also to ensure that it is practical and easy to implement a traffic management strategy that will deliver the highest level of application availability regardless of the application, operating system or protocol. |

Level One: Scalability and application performance is meaningless if your infrastructure isn't available. By going beyond the ability to distribute load across servers/ storage in a cluster and automatically monitor application and server/storage health we can configure a solution to intelligently route around failures. Designs already being implemented by us have the ability to monitor server load and application response times and route traffic to the fastest responding server available in the cluster. In this way if a server becomes unavailable or responds slowly due to load, end user access and productivity are unaffected because traffic is rerouting seamlessly to the best available server to meet the needs of the end user.
Level Two: To guarantee even higher levels of availability the QuantM HA design services can ensure that the infrastructure is configured in a fault tolerant configuration with a redundant load balancer as a backup in hot standby. This allows network administrators to deliver maximum performance for any mission-critical application or service that requires 100% availability and ensures users are never impacted by unavailable network resources including individual server outages, application failures or even the loss of the Equalizer itself.
Level Three: Geographic Server/ storage Load Balancing (GSLB) brings load balancing across all multiple data centers and completes the redundancy application delivery solution. As any service or application is scaled, reliable performance is maintained only when you can route users to the server best equipped to process their requests. If there's a network outage, server failure or other disturbance, this kind of solution can ensures availability by engaging surviving sites seamlessly. Traffic can be directed to multiple data centers according to business-defined policies matched against performance and availability metrics. |

Outages are inevitable whether they are scheduled or not. In the case of a server or applications outage, a well designed HA solution eliminates the necessity for IT staff to be on hand to replace one server with another working server or scramble to reroute traffic to another site. Individual servers can be taken in an out of the clusters without impacting application availability to the user population.
We ensures business continuity on the micro and macro level, automatically monitoring application and server health locally or globally to assure network resources are available to serve the user community. Even if a server becomes unavailable, an application stops responding, or responds slowly due to load, end user access and application availability are uncompromised because traffic is rerouting seamlessly to the best available server. For business continuity "best" is defined as an available server, storage and network with the appropriate content delivering the fastest response time. |

Multilevel reliability and redundancy mean administrators can breathe easier and users can count on service availability. The result is end users experience "always-on" application availability and administrators no longer need to schedule maintenance and upgrades after hours. Finally, no more maintenance schedules on weekends, and no more calls at midnight from frustrated users.
The bottom line for any business is making sure services offered are predictable, reliable and consistent. To offer that level of quality means having an infrastructure that promises the same. We offer solutions that are intelligent application-aware load balancing, redundant configurations and Geographic Server Load Balancing for high availability and business continuity.
When you need reliability, scalability, and performance to deliver superior user experiences and the highest level of service continuity; QuantM Delivers. |
